Challenging Thumb Stud Operation
This knife impresses with its sleek design and sharpness, but I’ve encountered a snag with the thumb stud. Opening the knife using it is tough, and it doesn’t glide smoothly under the thumb. This is concerning, as my thumb ends up dangerously close to the blade, risking cuts. Despite this, the knife performs admirably, living up to its promises. I’d rate it a solid 4.5 out of 5

I chose this CJRB knife for its appealing size and design, especially after my previous S&W knife, which was a letdown, fell apart. Although it was my first time purchasing a CJRB knife, I was keen to replace the old one. Initially, there was a mix-up in the delivery, and I received a different, more expensive model. However, the exchange process was swift and hassle-free. Now, I’m thrilled with my new daily carry – it’s extremely sharp right out of the box and fits perfectly in my hand. The knife is well-constructed, and after using it a bit, the fast-opening action has become impressively smooth. I’m optimistic this one will outlast my previous knife!

I’m really enjoying this knife! It’s been my go-to for daily tasks like cutting boxes, tape, plastic, and other materials for about two months. The colors are striking, and the overall build quality is impressive. It was decently sharp when it arrived, though a bit of sharpening wouldn’t hurt. The steel maintains its edge comparably to other quality knives I’ve used. My only hesitation in giving it a perfect score is the overly strong detent. It requires considerable pressure on the tang to flick the blade open, which can be a bit too much and borderline uncomfortable. Over time, it seems like either the knife has worn in, my fingers have adapted to the pressure, or both. However, I recall my last knife being easier to flick open.

Initially, I was unsure about the brand as it was new to me, but I wanted a reliable knife with a D2 blade for its sturdiness. To my surprise, the quality is remarkable. I chose the Blue variant, and its textured handles feel great to hold. The knife’s appearance is enhanced by the gold ring around the bearing.
This knife operates smoothly and locks securely with a satisfying click, thanks to its frame lock design. It’s become a go-to tool for me. I would certainly suggest this knife to anyone in search of an affordable yet high-quality option.

CJRB has really improved their knives recently. I bought this small knife as a gift for my girlfriend and ended up loving it myself. Its standout feature is the excellent button lock, rare in its smooth action and easy-to-use thumb hole, even for its small size. The AR-RPM9 steel is unique to CJRB and keeps a sharp edge. Ideal for light tasks and fits comfortably in smaller pockets, it’s well-made with secure aluminum scales. Though not for everyone, it’s perfect for those who like smaller knives or collectors. I enjoy its fidgeting aspect and plan to get a larger titanium version soon.
